Reading Your Birth Chart

 

Your birth chart (natal chart) is an in-depth look at the position of the planets, the Sun, and the Moon at your birth. To figure out your birth chart, you will need: the month, day, and year you were born, plus the city you were born in, and your birth time. The position of these celestial bodies at your birth can affect different parts of your personality. This is why two people of the same sign can have different personalities; the other signs in their chart may not be the same.

Sun Sign

Your sun sign is the sign you are most familiar with. It is the sign that is determined by the position of the sun on your birthday. In your personality, your sun sign represents your ego, your identity. It is the core of who you are. Moon Sign

Ascendant Sign

Your ascendant sign (also known as your rising sign), is determined by the time you were born. It is often considered the 3rd most important sign. Those born around dawn usually have the same sun and rising signs. Those born around sunset usually have the exact opposite sun and rising signs. This sign is your public face, how you come off to people you’ve just met. 

 

Mercury
